chances at stern

<p>I’m a male from NY and hope to major in business</p>

<p>GPA: not really sure what it is out of 4…but its a weighted 96.5 (thats probably pretty low)</p>

<p>ACT: 34 (33 eng, 33 reading, 36 math, 35 sci)
SAT: 800 Math, 550 reading, 710 writing
SAT 2s: 800 Math 2, 730 Chem, 570 UShist, 560 bio</p>

<p>would they look at my ACT over my SAT since it is much higher</p>

<p>-i am a nationaly ranked fencer…that will help, but what do my chances look like without the recruitment aspect?</p>

<p>o yea…and my sister just graduated from stern…so that should help hopefully</p>

<p>Fencing recruitment may actually help you, since its our only Division 1 sport. Get your Verbal up to 650+ and you should be able to get in.</p>

800 Math 2, 730 Chem</p>

<p>do i really need to make my reading a lot higher considering i have 33 Reading on ACT and 34 composite</p>

if i were you, i’d apply early decision if stern is your #1 choice</p>
