Chances at these selective colleges?

I’m a rising senior and am extremely nervous about the college process. I would like to know what my chances are at the following colleges:

Probably ED: (haven’t decided which one yet)
-Columbia
-Dartmouth
-Cornell CALS
Which would you say I have the best chance of getting into if I apply ED?

Other Colleges:
-Colgate
-Middlebury
-John Hopkins
-Tufts
-Vassar
-Wesleyan
-University of Chicago
-Boston College
-Binghamton SUNY
-Stony Brook SUNY
-City College of New York
*These may not be the exact colleges that I will apply to, but I would just like to know my chances at them.

And now my stats . . . :frowning:
I go to an extremely competitive public high school in my city.
My GPA is approximately a 92, I think it’s 91.5 or something near there. (Unweighted, my school does not weigh classes.)
SAT: 2070 (M:710, CR:720, W:640) I am retaking this.
ACT: 34
SAT 2: US History:730, am taking Math 2 in November
APs: US History:4, Environmental Science:5
am taking 4 AP classes next year

Extracurriculars:

 • Cross Country (two years, planning to continue in senior year as well)
 • Fencing (two years, might continue in senior year)
 • Stage Crew (sophomore year only)
 • Robotics (one year only, might join again in senior year)
 • Key Club (three years, will join again in senior year)
 • volunteered in the English Department during lunch (one year only)
 • founded and served as treasurer for a writer’s club
 • volunteered at my local library during the summer (two years)
 • helped build a model of a patent pending solar still
 • persuaded my building to lower its carbon footprint (building switched to motion sensor lights)
 • part of my school’s environmental club
 • am doing a research project with a mentor, will submit to intel competition
 • am interning at the local botanical garden
 • volunteering at a local community garden and sustainable environment organization
 • am also a member of NHS
 • am a mentor to incoming high school freshmen
 • tutor other students during my free time

My primary area of interest is the environment. I am thinking about majoring in environmental science or environmental engineering.
Based on all this information that I have managed to cram in the post here, what would you say are my chances at the colleges that I listed above?

You need a lot more matches!

Do NOT submit your SAT.
The best shot for ED is at Cornell, but that is still a reach.
You have some relatively short stints at some of your EC’s.
Because of your GPA, you need more match and safety schools, as soze states.

Holy crap, annbet, you are basically a female version of me, except (And with absolutely no intent of 1up-ing you) I have a few more ECs going on, I’m more involved in said ECs, and I’m good enough to run in college.

But besides that, I’m surprised at the similarities.

Might look at Holy Cross-very similar to Tufts, Colgate, Boston College.

@soze

Lol? SUNY Reach? Can I have some of what you’re smoking? It seems really good.

I think that you would have a pretty good chance at being accepted to Dartmouth if you apply ED and come across as an interesting, passionate person in your application.

I’d apply early to Cornell, and ED2 to Tufts or Vassar. I think the SUNYs are solid matches.

@askjeeves
Stony Brook and Bing are the two most selective of the SUNYs.
(I know someone from NY who got into Mich. honors OOS and was rejected by Bing, they are harder to get into than you think.)

@brainsparkle: An unhoooked applicant with <2100 is NOT getting into Dartmouth, particularly with a far from perfect GPA.

soze I agree with the preidcitons you wrote, however, the OP’s ACTs are much better than SATs and I think they are planning on sending the ACT scores.
