<p>Non California resident (Texas Resident)</p>

<p>Hispanic Male</p>

<p>I attend an alternative high school school about 300 student in total</p>

<p>Small senior class (about 37-38 people) First Quartile number 8 or 9 in senior class i think.</p>

<p>My school’s grading system is weird, they grade by a system of mastery learning on a 0-4 scale (only 3’s and 4’s are passing and credit is received.)</p>

<p>3.5 weighted GPA</p>

<p>1500 on SAT I know their horrible scores but im a bad test taker.</p>

<p>College Credit Courses- English 1301, Government 2301 and 2302, Psychology 2301, Kinesiology 1301, and i plan to take more this semester by then ill have about a semester of college credit.</p>

<p>EC’S</p>

<p>InterAct - this is basically a community sevice club where we do fundraisers for different causes like AIDS, polio eradication and stuff like that.</p>

<p>Multicultural Club Vice President- this is a club where learn about different cultures and show other people about different cultures, we also organize the schools programs and dances. </p>

<p>Hispanic Student Society- This club is not exclusive to hispanics we just focus on the hispanic youth and bring in positive hispanic mentors to motivate people to do good in school and stuff like that. Im the one that actually brought the club to the school.</p>

<p>Volunteer work- I have almost 200 hours of community service due to my schools service learning program. Plus i intern at a surgical center where i observe surgeries and help prep the room.</p>

<p>Is that 1500 out of 2400 on the SAT? If it is then you’re not getting in anywhere.</p>

current weighted gpa for junior yr only is 3.83
i took precal honors this yr and sadly got a D but thats the first i hnevr had a D or even a C
i took the march SAT for the first time and got 1330 but will take it again later and will take ap test, sat ll subject test and , try for ACT
i took 2 scince classes in junoir year and will take 2 more in senior year
so at the end of senoir year i have completed 6 scince classes
physical science with an A
biology with an A
chemistry with an A
ap biology with an A
ap chem ? dont know yet
ap enviromental? dont know yet</p>

<p>****i might take physics at a commmunity college this summer</p>

<p>also, 2 years of jv fieldhockey and 1 yr of varsity
volunteered at hospital and trash pick up
and broad memebers of officers of 2 clubs at school</p>

<p>soo how are my chances of getting into a UC?
my choices are UCLA, UCR, UCI, or any beside UCM and UC Santa cruz</p>

<p>try to aim your SAT for 1800+, if you cant, try to take ACT, you might do better on it than SAT. if you can achieve SAT 1800+, ACT 30+,

you’re out of state and you’re SAT score is very low for the LA. Consider taking the ACT. Also think about taking a few subject tests. Although not required, this might help boost your application a little bit</p>
