THX

yes for ucsd

no for berkeley because you have nothing special.

Reach for Berkeley, good match for UCSD. You have some good EC’s but for a competitive college like Berkeley, they would really expect to see more, and a higher variety. Also, what happened with the 3 on WHAP? Do you have a chance to retake? It make look bad on your application if you report it. ACT and GPA are definitely in the range for both colleges. Both are realistic, and you have pretty good chances at both. :slight_smile:

Chance me?

Haha yea I got a 3 on whap from sophmore year, no way will I retake it, haha. I don’t know, I decided to report it because its still a passing score I guess, and I heard it’s better to report everything, like more info=better or something.

I did elaborate alot about the ecs in my essays so maybe itll show some dedication or something.

Thanks for the replies, and if I could get a few more responses then I will promise to save the Earth from aliens one day.

bumpbumpbump =)

BumpyBumpy

I’d apply to Berkeley if I were. Your stats are within their admitted students last year, and I doubt they will change drastically next year. Besides, Berkeley’s admissions are unpredictable. If you an write an excellent essay, you’ll be fine, I guess.

Berkeley is a low reach. GPA and scores a little lower than average, but you have a chance.

UCSD is a match to low match.

Thanks guys, and bump!

USCD Match, idk about Berkeley. BTW, did the deadline for Berkeley pass?

Applications for all UC campuses are handled centrally then sent to each campuses individual admissions office. The deadline for all UCs was November 30. You may be able to apply for admission in the spring.

Stop with the bumping. Agree with what everyone else said. You’re solid for UCSD.
