I’m applying to UCSD for a major in pharmacology. What are my chances of getting in with these stats? And what are my chances at UCLA and UCB?

Kevioke, UCSD admissions is pretty clear cut. Go to this website: <a href=“Current Students”>Current Students;
and calculate your basic academic score: UC GPA X 1000 + ((SATI + 2 SAT2s) x 0.8) = 6856 (I think - check the math) Add the extra points (extra a-g courses, adversity, leadership, etc.) EC’s don’t have a big impact. Last year the cutoff was about 7500. You should be able to figure out your chances pretty accurately…

I’d say safe match - safety. Your GPA is above average for UCSD, your SAT scores score are about average, your ECs are fine for it, and your awards are pretty good. Being ELC would probably make it about a safety – ~90% of ELC students are accepted. Not sure how competitive pharmacology is, but it might make things a bit more difficult. At best, I’d say a match.
