<p>I’m from California as well!
I go to a private college preparatory Catholic all-girls high school.</p>
<p>Senior Class Vice President</p>
<p>Extracurriculars -
- Volunteer at the Peninsula Humane Society (approx 100 hrs)
- Volunteer counselor at summer day camps for 3 years (300 hrs)
- Work at Japanese restaurant year round for 1 year so far! (12 hrs a week)
- Paid counselor at same summer day camp for 2 years so far (40 hrs/week for 8 weeks)
- I participate in several varsity sports including: Cross Country (2 years) Swimming (3 years), Track (1 year), Waterpolo (1 year)
- I also have taken Japanese classes at my local community college
- I am currently enrolled in a Japanese Saturday school from September through June which is pretty intensive!</p>
<p>Anything else I should include?
I take multiple honors classes including History, Spanish, Math; and this year I am taking my second AP class. </p>
<p>I want to major in International Relations with a minor in Japanese (or a double major… not sure how that works?). I’m really passionate about Japan and living there and just their whole culture. I am on my way to becoming fluent! </p>
