Chances at various school for a FABULOUS POTATO

<p>Based on my main interests (writing and acting) my two main choices are Yale and Northwestern. However, my family is urging me to try for more Ivy schools, so I’m reaching for Harvard, and applying to U of P cuz my grandpa went there. I have Rutgers as a safety.</p>

<p>Stats:
SAT 1420 (770 V, 650 M</p>

<p>SAT II Writing 800, Literature 740, Math I 640 (my horrible attempt to redeem math SAT I scores)</p>

<p>Got 5 on AP US History</p>

<p>GPA 3.8 unweighted, 4.6 weighted</p>

<p>All main classes honors except AP US. History last year and Euro, Calculus and both English classes this year. </p>

<p>I did not take a science last year because I had a schedule conflict and wanted 4 years of Italian, so I’m in honors Physics this year</p>

<p>Extracurriculars
-Editor-in Chief of school paper
-M.V.P. in Academic Decathlon at school
-Good parts in School musical 9th, 11th, maybe lead this year
-Sing at talent shows and football games
-Critique committee on literary magazine
-Taught kids how to read at elementary school</p>

<p>I won a scholarship to study abroad in Italy this past summer
National Honor Society (tutor and in Big Sister program)
Mu Alpha Theta
Italian Honor Society</p>

<p>Also, I wanted more “match schools” and safeties that are also good schools.</p>

<p>it’s like I feel i’m pretty competitive with the english stuff, but thew math is just “above average”. But that’s not really fair for a college to ignore me because of my math scores when I’m going for english and theater arts! Does anyone have any ideas?</p>
