<p>Hello- I’m about to be a senior at a public school in LA…wondering what I could improve/what you think my current chances might be of getting into Wesleyan…
GPA: 3.9 weighted with 2 APs so far
Senior year I’m taking 5 APs and one elective
class rank: 9/800</p>

<p>SAT: 2120
math 740
cr 650
w 730
SAT II
math 2: 750
lit: 660</p>

<p>extracurriculars include Composer/Lyricist for a full length musical, jazz/pop pianist for several years, musical theatre performer for 9 years, singer/songwriter for 4 years, editor on school literary magazine.</p>

<p>Awards include best supporting actor from National Youth Theatre, 2 time winner of Reno Jazz Festival with my school’s vocal jazz group, and the literary magazine I edit for has won gold medals from the Columbia Press Association</p>

<p>about 40 hours community service so far…</p>

<p>Your ECs and class rank are excellent. The only problem is that your CR SAT is a bit low. It might be worth another sitting to see if you can get it up to 700+. Other than that, I’d say you are in good shape.</p>
