Chances at

bu with a 3.33 from Wellesley after one year and a 4.29 from high school (ranked 5th in class)…minority too if that helps

any other info to evaluate on? (ec’s…activities…leadership positions…community service) just gpa is kind of broad…

High School: Model UN 3 years (under secretary general), secretary of national honor society, class officer for three years, assistant year book editor

College: volunteer at Boston soup kitchen, coordinator of program to have Wellesley students write letters to second and third graders to help with writing skills, Admissions rep: wrote letters to accepted students to give examples of Wellesley experience; also met with accepted students during open campus and paired them with their overnight hosts

Work: have had the same job since May of 2001

You’ve got an excellent shot, I’d imagine. You must have good boards to be at Wellesley, so I stand to reason you’ll be happy with your admissions decision.

You already have a good average from a good school. Should be fine. Too suburban out on Rte 16?

Agree your chances are good. Bored at your current school and looking for an urban campus or are there other reasons you wish to transfer? CAS? SMG?

it’s mostly boredom and me wanting a complete college experience meaning social and academic…probably CAS

Whats missing at your current school? Have you visited BU?

You can probably get into the BU Honors Program too. Being a URM helps especially at schools in the Northeast. Good luck and keep us posted. When are you hoping to transfer? For Spring?
