Chances based on EC's?

I know that you need to be well- rounded, but hypothetically, what would be my chances only based on extracurriculars?

Appointed onto Student Respect Committee sophomore year
Philosophy Club (joined sophomore year)
BELIEV Club- helps children’s specialized hospital (joined sophomore year)
100 hours volunteer work

I moved to the US on September of sophomore year.

What would be a reach, match, lock, impossible? Cornell; Rutgers; Princeton; NYU; Columbia; Rochester; CUNY; Boston Uni; Harvard; MIT

Very very very high reaches. Nothing is impossible though.

^for the Ivies. I’m not really familiar with the Rutgers admissions stats but the Ivies are definitely very high reaches.

bump…
any other opinions?

First things first. Do you possess top GPA, a very rigorous schedule and excellent SAT/ACT scores? These supersede any and every EC, practically.

But more to your question: ultra highly selective schools want kids who are typically the most influential kids in their schools and indeed, the community.
