Chances based on gpa and sats

Hello! I just got back my June sat results. Here’s what I’ve got so far for testing.

March SAT-2020
June SAT- 2100
Bio M subject test- 650 (taken in May)
Math II- 690 (also in May)
I realize my subject tests may not be so great…
As far as school is concerned, my weighted GPA is 5.5. In my school, I’m among the top 2%.

I live in Texas. Within Texas, I plan on applying to UT Austin, Rice, and Texas A & M. The out of state school I want to apply to is UCLA.

What are my chances of getting into these schools based on this data? I’m mainly concerned about my SATs and subject tests. Also how will these scores affect going into specific fields such as premed or engineering within these universities? I’m also planning on taking the ACT in September. Would that be too late? Esp for rolling admission schools?

UCLA would be a reach. Plus, can you afford $55K per year? There is no financial aid for OOS students.

I wouldn’t say UCLA is a reach- maybe a high match. But it’s true that it is expensive. For the rest, your chances are very good (except maybe Rice) because (again, except for rice) schools dont really care too much about SAT Subject Tests. And no, September would not be too late, even for rolling or early admissions. Even Oct would be okay

Heyyyy! Your SAT scores are enough to get your foot in the door but definitely not outstanding… Give the ACT a shot! Your GPA, however, looks fabulous! Keep it up! I live in Georgia and was just admitted into UCLA’s class of 2019… Yeah I’m paying a bunch of money… But it’s UCLA!!! Work hard, play hard! My biggest advice would be to SLAY the essays. Be unique and take a different perspective. Have a voice!!! GO BRUINS!

You’ll have a really good chance in UT Austin. UCLA would be possible. Your sat scores are really good. As for act, it is not necessary, you require only one. And being from Texas, you have a really good chance at the university from texas

Thank you everyone for your advice
