I think my letters of recommendation were pretty good, one nearly made me cry.
I put a lot of work into my personal statements, and also sent a copy of an AP English essay I did well on.

My uber reach schools are of course the usual:
Brown (deferred ED), Harvard, Cornell

Not quite as uber, but still reaches
University of Rochester
Syracuse University
Franklin Marshall

I’m hoping I can at least get into
SUNY Binghamton
and Tompkins Cortland Community College

I think you should have applied to more ivies, you can easily get into your slight reaches and matches you listed.

no chance for harvard

No, he has a slight chance, but that chance is virtually negligible.

99.999999% chance for the community college. Very good for binghampton.
University of Rochester is a slight reach, and Franklin and Marshall is also a slight reach (high match at the least).

Thanks! I appreciate!

jesus, its not a he its a female whose ghostly! You realize your stats arent bad at all. Your SAT’s are decent, your GPA good, and ur exc are a little weak but in great quantity (alot of it is simply school related). I would have reocmmended NYU, Hamilton, Tufts (all great matches for you) but instead ur schools have huge gaps from cornell and harvard to Syracuse. U made a big mistake. Everything in “slgiht reach” and down you’re easily in. its a shame u didnt apply to nyu or those schools ; /

“no chance for harvard”

don’t appreciate that comment… you have a better chance than ALOTT of people i know that are applying to harvard… including myself. Your extracurricular activities are strong and you show committment in a variety of areas. Your only “weak” point, for a school like harvard at least, is your SAT I math score - however, it is hardly something that takes you out of the running completely.

i think you have a good chance at cornell RD, reaches Harvard RD and Brown deferred RD.

Match/safety everywhere else

For Syracuse I was hoping to get into Newhouse, but I am starting to worry that I should have applied to more colleges, or should apply to some with later admission deadlines. I think I really struggled when it came time to apply, because I got so upset about getting deferred, (even though I expected rejection).
I’m hope, hope, hoping that my essays might be able to sway Cornell into accepting me.
I wish I was better at Math. It kills me. :)

yeah. damn math, its a made up concept too.
