Chances? Chances? Don't Worry! Here Is The Ultimate Formula!

Here is my formula for everyone:
[(SAT1 + SAT2 + SAT2 + SAT2)/100]*cumulative GPA = score

GPA:
A = 4.0
A- = 3.7
B+ = 3.3
B = 3.0
B- = 2.7
C+ = 2.3
C = 2.0
C- = 1.7
D = 1.0
F = 0

or use your current un-weighted GPA

this is for Regular Decision

Use the chart:
Stern:
75% - 99% if your score is: greater than or equal to 125
50% - 74% if your score is: 115 - 124
25% - 49% if your score is: 105 - 114
0% - 25% if your score is: less than or equal to 104

College of Arts and Science:
75% - 99% if your score is: greater than or equal to 123
50% - 74% if your score is: 113 - 122
25% - 49% if your score is: 103 - 112
0% - 25% if your score is: less than or equal to 102

Gallatin:
75% - 99% if your score is: greater than or equal to 120
50% - 74% if your score is: 110 - 119
25% - 49% if your score is: 100 - 109
0% - 25% if your score is: less than or equal to 99

100% - don’t even ask
75% - likely to get in
50% - 50/50 chance; maybe or maybe not
25% - likely to get rejected
0% - don’t even bother posting your stats

you’re weird

i spent the last hour doing that crap. i hope it’s useful to RD people out there

it’s not useful because it really means nothing. it disregards essays, short answers, recommendations and extracurriculars. please just stop making these nonsensical posts, kjayson7, you’re making a complete fool of yourself and you’re making some of us pray you don’t get in.

:( oh harsh… i just did it to kill my time basically … :frowning: if you hate me, hate me so…but don’t pray :slight_smile: lol aren’t you jew?

just curious…if a jew or buddhist or muslim prays…does that…i don’t know “happen” on someone who is not the person’s religion?

i need a patent for that formula…any potential lawyers here?

Stern:
75% - 99% if your score is: greater than or equal to 125

damn…i got 109…

you’re supposed to rig your own formula so that you have a 100% chance of getting in

you see now why I applied to SSW?

nice i have 142, even if i use my low sat writing score instead of my better sat 2’s lol

lol, this is great

LoL, well, at least it made me happy :)

i got a 138. but it doesn’t make me feel any better about getting in.

I got into CAS and I only had a 25% - 49% percent chance with this thing…guess I got lucky, ha

Ummm…this has to be one of the looniest things I’ve ever seen.

This is CUTE! haha I got 116.49…which puts me in the 50/50 pile.

Interesting formula. Especially since in my post “Chances at CAS RD?” you said:

25% man i am sorry but…RD? no way

and I got a 127 on the above formula ;).

only three sat2s please

I used my top 3, 750/690/660.

With my bottom 3 560/610/640, I have a 116, which still puts me in the 50-74% bracket.

mine came out as an integral (?)
