**Chances ED2 to NYU Stern & Other Schools?**

Hi everyone! I wanted to get your opinions on my chances of getting into some schools I am applying to. I am a white male and I go to a not-so-competitive public high school.

•GPA (100 pt. scale): 95.69 unweighted; 100.7 weighted

•2010 SAT score (650 CR, 670 Math, 690 Writing) (NOTE: I will not be sending my SAT scores)
•31 ACT (31 math, 34 english, 29 reading, 30 science. Average=31.25… very mad at this. Retake in Dec. to get a 32)

•Course rigor: 7 AP classes total (APUSH, AP Calc AB, AP Chem, AP Economics (micro&macro in same year), AP Physics B, AP language and composition, AP world history (9th & 10th grade)); All other classes are Honors classes; “wind ensemble” (my school’s most advanced band).

•extracurriculars: National Honor Society, President of English Honor society/English Club, treasurer of Business Honor Society, advanced outside-of-school Orchestra member (play at well-known stages such as Carnegie Hall), volleyball team, outside-of-school volleyball club (play around the nation at national tournaments). Tri-M international music honor society

•attended the Columbia University Summer Program for High School Students (coursework in Business, finance, and eco)

Interned at 2 companies throughout high school

•Chief Executive Officer of my school’s Virtual Enterprise International (VEI) Firm

•Counselor Letter of Rec: Generic
•Teacher Letters of Rec: Great
•Also, I am sending a letter of rec from the CEO of a well-established, publicly traded company
•Intended major: Finance
•I will not be applying for financial aid

SCHOOLS:
NYU Stern (Early Decision II) *First Choice
Boston College Carroll
Boston University Questrom
Northeastern D’amore-McKim
Tulane University Freeman
Loyola Univeristy
Indiana University Kelley School of Business
Fordham University Gabelli School of Business
Cornell Dyson (What the heck, right? lol)

Thank you so much!

Bump

UPDATE: accepted DA to Indiana; not applying to Dyson.

How would my chances increase (if any) at these schools if I were to score higher on science and reading, thus making my superscored ACT score a 32-33? Also, will being white slightly increase my chances at Stern? I see (I’m sorry if this comes off as racist or offensive) most people on CC accepted/applying to Stern are asian. Just a thought.

Letter of rec from the CEO of a Fortune 500 or Fortune 1000 company would be impressive

Stern is a reach. Would remove Tulane and Loyola and add Baruch, UVA, UNC, UMich

Thanks. I know Stern is a reach, but do you think if I got a 33 ACT plus all the stats listed above I’d even have a slight chance? Also, what about the Boston Schools?
