I’ve had my list of schools for a while now and I think they’re semi-reasonable, but I’m still uneasy about the whole thing and would like to know where I stand in the rest of competition with the rest of the nation’s seniors. I’m “smart” for my area but I have a hard time figuring out the academic climate in the other states.
Schools:
Georgetown Walsh School of Foreign Service (EA)
Princeton
Yale
UPenn
Johns Hopkins
Carnegie Mellon

Academics:
20/280 in class - top 10 % (Low class rank due to IB students w/ full weighted classes. I wanted to take AP Social Science classes, we offer no HL Social Sciences at my school. Also to be flexible with the arts.)
9 AP Classes total, 7 this year, 2 last year. 5 on both AP exams (US History and Language) last year.
Languages: Through AP Spanish V
ACT - 30
SAT - 2080 (Taking it again next weekend, have been prepping since summer)
GPA: Unweighted 4.6/Weighted 3.8

EC:
Selected to attend the 2012 North Carolina Governor’s School in the area of Social Science, Coursework included social science, philosophy, and Self/Society Classes. One of 4 attendees in county.

Model United Nations (10,11,12) - Head Delegate (12)
Participated in numerous national MUN conferences such as Johns Hopkins MUN and Emory University MUN - Honorable mention for CITU at JHUMUN 2012

Founded a photography club at my school Junior year - active president. Collaborates with students to expand art education and host benefit galleries for charitable organizations.

National Honors Society (11,12) - Vice President (12)
International Thespian Society (11, 12) - Secretary (11), President (12)
Spanish National Honors Society (11, 12)
NAACP/Local Education Task Force Ethinc Minority Scholar Award (9,10,11)
Women’s Varsity Tennis Team At My School (9,10,11,12) - Scholar Athlete Award (9,10,11)
National Endowment for the Arts Poetry Out Loud Recitation Contest District Competition Finalist (9,11,12)

What are my chances of getting into the above schools? I know the Ivies might be a stretch, but I am really in love with Georgetown. Also, I am looking for some potential fall back schools that would be rigorous and prestigious, but not impossible to get into.

Thank you so much!
