Chances for 2015?

Just figured I'd throw this out there.

GPA: UW: 3.6 W:3.9
Class Rank: 9/160

SAT I:
Reading: 700
Math: 630
Writing: 640
Total: 1970
Hopefully these will go up to a 2100

SAT II:
haven't taken any yet.

EC's:
Tennis Team - 4 years
Chess Club - 4 years
Drama Club - 3 years

Course Rigor:

(don't offer AP classes to underclassmen)

Senior year is looking like:
AP English
AP Biology II
AP Calculus
Honors Physics
Sociology/Psychology
Computer Programming I/II

youre in as of right now keep working as hard

Boston University isn't exactly tough to get into. Isn't the acceptance rate something like 50-60%?

Anyway, your stats are quite nice. Your GPA looks a bit low, but that varies from school to school. Also, you should improve your SAT score. From the looks of it, you could probably reach the 700's in each subject if you pushed yourself. Regardless, I'd say you're a shoe-in, since your stats are very similar to mine.

Might want to consider looking into higher tier schools as well.

keep in mind, the 50% acceptance rate is very misleading because of CGS. The acceptance rate for CAS (and I assume other non-CGS schools) is more around 30%.

But your stats look good, very similar to mine, and I got in.

Timesnewroman is right. The acceptance into the other colleges at BU is signifigantly harder. CGS is full of two things really: Undecided students ( no clue at all) and Students with potential to do very well/contribute to the school in other areas.

As an admitted student, I do feel that your profile does fit the Boston University profile of being a well rounded student.

what are my chances?
