Get your SATs up and youve got a better chance. With the way its getting harder to get into PSU I would say right now your chances are just so so. Apply as early as possible to increase your chances (I think they start taking apps in aug.?)

Also from what I’ve heard I believe that PSU looks at admissions in regards to ACT/ SAT as 1/3 of your application and GPA 2/3. So extracurriculars don’t matter. As of now, I would say you have a 50-50 chance.

Really PSU dosen’t care about your extracurriculars at all?

“BTW, in case you don;t know, EC’s don;t currently count for anything at PSU. It’s 2/3 grades/curriculum and 1/3 SAT. Don;t worry about padding ECs for PSU.”

You should be fine, so don’t even worry about it.

Thanks for all the help guys, when can I start sending in my application to PSU?

Its rolling admissions, and because you dont need your extracurricular, recommendations, essays, etc. you can send the application in whenever you can once you take your SAT/ACT and get your transcript confirmed. I believe the application becomes available during August so whenever you finish it send it right in and hopefully you will be accepted. Maybe I’ll see you there in 2 years.

Maybe yanksman, right now PSU is my number 1 choiice I hope I get in and if I do get in around September I would have no choice to but to fly up to some PSU football games.
