This is for my friend: What are her chances of getting into Exeter and Andover?

She has had a 4.0 all throughout middle school.

She’s been on the yearbook staff for 2 years, and will be editor-in-chief next year (8th grade). She is also president of the Debate Club. She has been serving in the Student Council for all of middle school, and was inducted into NJHS in 7th grade.

She is on the city Teen Commission.

Also, what are some other good prep schools for her?

It all depends on what she is looking for. I always reccomend going to www.boardingschoolreview.com to get started.

Just a suggestion.

anisha08, I have read the various prep school threads on CC, and the one observation I have noted, is that most prospective students who apply to the competitive prep schools all have very good grades, and a smattering of EC’s.Therefore I would have to think that the interview process and recommendations are very very important. Assuming your friend does well with this issue, she/he has as good a chance as any.
