Best SATs
V630 M600 W640 (I was very stoked about them and will not be taking it again)

SAT2s this saturday…I don’t think it will be very good.

INTERESTS:
creative writing!!! and possibly education, philosophy, theology. a school with school spirit and a sense of community. not a bunch of dumb blonde “california girls” (sorry, i’m blonde). somewhat politically active.

You probably benefit from geographic diversity and your grades and test scores are in line, so you have a good chance.

Not to discourage you, but BU is urban and that means school spirit isn’t as strong as at places in their own college towns.

I think you have a very good shot, though with slightly higher SATs I would have no doubt. I still think you have a 90% chance of getting in, and for the most part BU isn’t a bunch of dumb california girls, though their population is noticable. I’d say that the BU community as a whole is quite politically active, a LOT of people are doing IR majors and many people I’ve met were into model UN and all those kinds of things in their high school.

As for school spirit, I disagree with Lergnom, and I think most people who have been to a few terrier hockey games would as well. I can’t really compare to another college as this is the only one I’ve attended, but the hockey fans are extremely hardcore in school spirit, even more so than I’ve felt at Red Sox Yankees games.

i think you’ll be accepted.

for the school spirit, i think BU has lots when it comes to hockey, but outside of hockey, many other schools have higher school spirit and sense of community.
