Chances for a Special Ed Major?

I applied ED II to Peabody as a Special Ed major.
I took the SAT and SAT IIs but I did really bad so I didn’t even send my scores.
ACT: 27
26 English
31 Math
11 Writing

GPA: 95.6 Weighted (my school adds 7 points for honors and APs)
Rank 43/470
I have 6 APs total and 9 honors
I’m scared it might look bad because I only took 2 clases first semester sophomore year then took mostly easy classes the rest of my sophomore year but I had a personal struggle which my counselor explained in a letter with my application.

My essay was about how I went skydiving on my 18th birthday (shows that I’m willing to take risks).

I’ve done a lot to do with special ed, I have an internship in a special ed program at an elementary school, I went to an autism conference at Emory.

My extracurriculars are decent, not amazing but not bad.

So do you think I have a chance at getting in?

bump…10 char

Your ACTs may be a bit low. But who knows?

I think you would get in because the things you like to do are so “out there” and add to diversity. Honestly, me and you will just wait until the week of the 15th.
