Chances for a transfer

Hi guys,

I’m going to give MSU a shot for the Fall 2008 semester. How do my stats look?

Current school: a medium-sized SUNY
GPA: Around a 3.2
ACT: 29
EC’s: President of College Democrats, on the editorial board of the History Journal, won third prize in the school’s annual International/Global Studies Essay Contest.

Currently about to be a second-semester sophomore.

What do you think?

You’d probably be in, more so b/c of your 3.2 GPA. All of the SUNY’s are quality schools, so that should carry weight… Most major schools – esp large ones like MSU – don’t look much at ACT/SAT scores when kids have actually done college work b/c college work is what those tests are designed to predict.
