<p>USC likes students from outside of California. Find out where they are having an information session (possibly Chicago or Milwaukee) and go to it. Find out who the regional representative is and make contact.</p>

<p>Keep in mind also that it’s not just whether or not you have the numbers for USC - a lot of students have the numbers. Beyond that, what matters is WHY you want to go to USC. Say this is my background, this is what USC offers, and this is WHY I want to go to USC, out of all the schools in the country.</p>

<p>However, your ACT score is pretty average. Consider taking an ACT prep course and re-taking the ACT.</p>
