Thank You for your time and help!

sorry for the typo: Lied-Lived*

LSA and Ross are reach and high reach.

Is it just due to the SAT score?

Not just low SAT score but also for being international.

How is that a bad thing? Also, wouldn’t my profile and GPA offset some SAT Score?

Your profile may help which your GPA is not really outstanding to offset anything. 21% of enrolled freshmen this year has 4.0 GPA from high school. Admission average GPA was 3.85. Also, the admission stat has already reflect whatever parameters offsetting low SAT that those with low SAT must have strength in other aspect or hooks and yet, the 25th percentile SAT is 2040 while your score is 100+ points below that. Anyway, even it is a reach (high reach for Ross), it does not means you would have zero chance in admission although it is not likely.

There were no preadmits from Asia in the class of 2018. I think there were a few from Canada, and maybe a few from Great Britain. However, Ross seems to weigh extra curricular stuff pretty heavily and you seem to do pretty well in that realm (such as your own startup), so I wouldn’t discount it. Preadmit is pretty random, so I wouldn’t discount it. Might as well try your chances and apply for both!
