I graduated from the top private engineering college in the US with a 2.98 and was hired as an engineer for a fortune 50 company. I recently left the company to pursue a different career by earning my masters. I intend to work fulltime while taking online classes through Virginia techs aero masters program.
Since I have years of work experience and am employed, do you think they will show mercy on my undergraduate cumulative GPA? My only hope of getting in is to excel at the GRE I’m thinking. Is it pointless to try for grad school or do I seem to have a very good shot with appropriate rec letters?
Thanks.
