Hi kdurham,
I replied earlier to a similar chances post and think this may help you too…
You’re stats (mainly UW/W GPA and EC’s/job experience) are on par+ with many of the undergraduate schools and programs. If you tailored your application to your commitment to your EC’s and the job experience you have (which I’m sure if you got recommendation letters from your employer and wrote specifically about your internship and summer positions, highlighting its applicability to finance, this could really give you a leg up) and also took the ACT again (this is a must) this Spring/Summer before the common app opens to boost that 28 score (or took the SAT instead, you might do better?), I believe you’d fair well as a candidate for admissions to NYU CAS, Steinhardt, Lib studies, Gallatin, and maybe, just maybe Stern, but you will have more of a challenge applying to Stern. Are you planning to apply directly to Stern? RD? EDI/II? If so, I’d absolutely take the SAT/ACT again (and again if you can) to get that score at a bare minimum, above a 2000 or 2100+ SAT/31 or 32+ ACT. Lastly, and probably most importantly, if you wish to get financial aid in the form of grants/scholarships from NYU, the better your application/grades/SAT, ACT scores, the higher likelihood you’ll get more $$. You could get accepted with similar stats as your current ones, but your fin aid package might leave you at $150,000+ in debt. And that’s not worth it in any universe. Spending the time to get your scores up now could save you $100,000 in the end, as NYU scholarships are based on both need and merit together. Message me or post on this thread if you have any questions, etc.
Thanks; hope this helps.

It’s a low reach. But it would not be beyond the realm of possibility for you to get in. I know it’s hard to just sit on your hands and wait, but before you know it, the wait will be over

@CaliCash‌ @bodhicitta‌ Thank you both for you feedback, I guess its time for me to sit back and wait.
