Thanks for your time and input…it’s a long post. =)

Your resume looks padded. Focus and give meaning to the activities that are truly meaningful to you.

Be sure to take the SAT. Prepare for at least 3 SAT IIs.

Your accomplishments will only get you so far; without a hook, your essays and recommendations will get you accepted.

Sorry if my comments seem disconnected. You seem to be on the right track. :)

Retaking a 35 ACT? You might be concerned that adcoms will think you are too test obsessed and not really committed to your ECs, if you are willing to devote a morning, and preparation time, to a score already in the 99%tile.

TheDP’ advice is great–prep for SATIIs.

Thanks for the responses =) I actually probably won’t retake the ACT. However, the MME at my school requires juniors to take it in march so I’ll be taking it again anyways.

No worry, Emiiliye. Your ACT is more than good enough. Work on other things instead, and you’ll get into plenty of top schools two years from now. Good luck to you! :)

Your ACT might go down. The motif is stronger among high test scorers. See if you can be excused from that requirement. What are your AP scores?

I don’t understand what requirement? And my APs were both 4’s. Probably shouldn’t have taken only one year of chemistry though.
