HAHAH i almost went to Bard High SChool but they location scared me away… -.- your friend has good SAT @ and SAT scores, his grades seem to be icnreasing, a good string ec of theathre which he seems to be strong in because he has an award in playwriting. I guess he seems focused so yead if iw ere him id definately apply ED Harvard. Id say like above avergae chances… just my two cents… id say most of yes backups schools are almost definate yes… and Columbia like a probably… good luck to your friend

sorry for any spelling mistakes…

Your friend has a very good chance of being admitted into Princeton. His SATs and EC are almost perfect, no national awards, no perfect score, but still they are amazing. His ECs show a lot of dedication to theater, and schools of Princeton’s caliber love dedication (or so I think). Does living on 40K in New York City, a hook (low income)? Being a first generation college student is that a hook as well, especially coming from South East Asia (I read that in What It Really Takes to get into the ivy league)? Hmm… I don’t know I’m considering them almost hooks. Well overall your friend is an extremely competitive applicant and best of luck.
