I’m also a Chinese Canadian applicant, so I’m assuming that might hinder me. Feedback would be appreciated.

The Chicago website did not specify that it is need-blind for Canadian citizens, so I’m slightly worried. Does anyone know if needing ‘some’ financial aid will decrease my chance of accpetance?

I hate to seem like I’m purposely bumping my thread up, but…is chicago need-blind even for Canadian applicants? If someone knows, please direct me to a link that indicates as such.

I’m not sure how Chicago accepts Canadian applications, but I would say that needing financial aid will not hurt you at Chicago. If anything, they tend to scrutinize non-aid applicants more closely than aid applicants.

erm…i’m an international myself (and a flautist too hello! waves ) and i’m pretty sure Chicago is not need blind for any non-US citizen applicant.
