I live in NC.
I’m a minority in need of financial aid
I go to a pretty competitive public high school, where I’m ranked 233/675 (horrible, i know).
I take a pretty hard courseload-
junior year- 5 IB, 2 AP course
senior year- will take 3 IB and 2 AP and I will attend community college
GPA- UW- 2.65
W- 3.5
SATs- (plan to take ACT instead) CR-490, Math- 590, Writing- 550, Essay 8
ECs- JV Cross Country 2 yrs
JV Indoor Track- 2 yrs
JV Track- 3 yrs
100+ community service
I want to know my “chances” to
NC State
Appalachien State
UNCCH
UNCC
UNCG
Temple U.
Rutgers
and U. Mass. Amherst

<p>Your chances at Temple should be good. You have a 1080 and if you could raise it maybe 50 points you would look real good.</p>
<p>Your rank will hurt you at bigger schools like UMass and Rutgers, especially out of state. So try and balance that with a well-written application.</p>
