Chances for an average sian student.

okay, so I’ve been wondering what schools to apply for in the medical field, perhaps double majoring in philosophy (like my sibling).

I’m currently a junior is my statistics:
- Summer before Freshman year:
[ul]Geometry: A-/A
[/ul]
- Freshman year:
[ul]Alg2: A+/A+[/ul]
[ul]Biology: B+/A-[/ul]
[ul]English: B/A-[/ul]
[ul]History (world history): B+/B+[/ul]
[ul]Orchestra 1: A/A (5th year or music - commitment; section leader)[/ul]
[ul]PE (first semester): A+ [/ul]
[ul]Track and Field: earned a soph/frosh letter (although it isn’t really significant in any way)
[/ul]
I self-studied AP Biology outside of school and obtained a 770 on the sat and a 5 on the AP test.

- Summer before Sophomore year:
History (Development of Civ): A
- Sophomore year:
[ul]Math Analysis: A-/B[/ul]
[ul]Chemistry Honors: A-/A-[/ul]
[ul]English : A[/ul]
[ul]English Honors (second semester): A-[/ul]
[ul]Mandarin: A-/A-[/ul]
[ul]Orchestra 2: A/A (6th year of music - commitment)[/ul]
[ul]Cross Country: A (received a letter and 7 medals from 6 races)[/ul]
[ul]Track and Field: A[/ul]

I self-studied AP Chemistry outside of school and obtained a 740 on the sat and a 4 on the AP test.

- Junior year [currently in]:
[ul]AP Physics B[/ul]
[ul]AP Calculus AB[/ul]
[ul]AP US History[/ul]
[ul]AP English Language and Composition[/ul]
[ul]Mandarin 3[/ul]
[ul]Orchestra 2 (7th year of music - commitment?)[/ul]

Also, I’m hoping to be able to make into the following classes as a senior, although I’m not 100% sure if i will make it.
[ul]AP Enviromental Science[/ul]
[ul]AP Calculus BC[/ul]
[ul]AP Gov.[/ul]
[ul]AP English Literature[/ul]
[ul]AP Mandarin[/ul]
[ul]Orchestra 3 (the highest level Orchestra we have, and I expect to commit 8 years to the music department)[/ul]

Also, I am currently a** Icc rep** of a small club that was just recently made.

I also volunteer at a hospital, in which I have been a part of for around a year, which I have made an impact on.

My unweighted gpa is a 3.81

However, I’m also in a school in which there are ~3,800 students, around 2400 are Asian.

Not taking into consideration my SAT Test score (taking it in January and March), what would be my chances of getting into any of the following schools?

 • UC Irvine
 • UC San Diego
 • UC Santa Barbara
 • Ucla (sibling attends Ucla if it adds to my future college app)
 • USC (parent went here if it adds to my future college app)
 • Berkley
 • Johns Hopkins
 • Washington University in St. Louis (received a letter for a essay checklist, but does that really matter?)
