Helped out at temple and at group community services like painting old age homes or gardening.

What are the chances? Pl. guide what we should do to better our chances at Stanford and UCB.

Thanks.

Sounds like a strong candidate to me. Improving the SAT is the best thing that he can do. Buy a study guide, and take it with you everyplace. Do a couple of practice tests under authentic conditions- 8AM, no extra breaks, with a timer. It sounds as if he does not have time for those expensive, thirty hour prep courses.

GymnastMom:

UCB: Reach (out of state)

Thank you, One Mom.

We plan on starting the prep. sessions. Waiting for the AP exams to finish in May.

Gymnasts are treated as regular applicants to all these schools. They do not get the leniencies shown to other NCAA candidates. The only thing different is the acceptance into the college team and possible scholarship money.

Yes, the SAT scores do worry me.
