ok like 4.0 GPA, AMAZING Extracurrics(like Pres of 3 things, old ppl stuff, and like TONS OF STUFF), GREAT essay writer, cheerful/helpful in schoo so prob GREAT recommendations, like 2 or 3 in class of like 400. HOWEVER, my best friend is a horrendous test taker and only has 25 on ACT, chances???</p>

<p>we really can’t guess, but your friend has a shot a lot of it depends on the essay and recs.</p>
<p>i agree that your friend has a shot, but a 25 is really going to be tough. there is another test this fall she could probly take to try to boost it up.</p>
<p>yeah a 25 might hurt her if she has just generic “pres of this, pres of this” ECs and not some really unique activity like published research or something.</p>
<p>try taking SAT, NU accepts both. </p>
<p>and just FYI…Mich = Northwestern - Chicago - Lake Michigan + 20,000 kids…so not sure on that assessment</p>
