Chances for BioMedical Enginnering

My Daughter is planning to apply for BioMedical Engineering. Her Stats are 35 on ACT, top 5 among the graduating class
of 400. Her UW gpa is 4.0. She will have 10 A/P’s (mostly 5’s). SAT 2 Math 760 and Bio 710. National Merit commendation along with Starting Stem club. Also on board of NHS and other clubs. Extensive honors level science research during all 4 years. Volunteered at hospital for 300 hours. Has represented and won couple of Science research and Math awards.
Asian from Subcontinent. Any suggestions/advice would be appreciated.

She is planning to concentrate on East Coast as we are based in Long Island. But is looking into Stanford and UCB also.

Your question depends on the schools your daughter is applying to.

For some, it’s an automatic admit to the program or school of engineering. For others, you apply right from high school. Some require that you apply after your first year of college so that they can look at first year grades.

However, so far it seems like she would be successful wherever she applies. Good luck!
