What are my chances in getting into Connecticut College and Bowdoin?
I am a 16 y/o white female from an upper middle class family in Massachusetts
My siblings attend Rice University and Amherst College if this makes any difference
I attend a small public school that is ranked in the top 30 schools in MA
Graduation year: 2017
I am in the top 25% of my class (my school does not rank us formally)
I just finished my sophomore year
I have a 3.7 GPA unweighted
I have not taken any Aps yet since my school does not offer them to sophomores/freshman
I have taken mostly honors since freshman year, I took CP Spanish and CP English both years
I did very well freshman year but this year I ended up getting bad grades at the end of the year because I ended up getting very sick and missed a lot of school. Will colleges understand if I let them know why this year was not up to my full potential?
I have not taken the SATs yet but got a 2275 on the PSAT
