Chances for COLBY!

Hey guys! So I've been looking at Colby College and its an awesome school from my opinion. But there's always a catch. My GPA is definitely on the low side but my SAT is solid. Please chance me!

Mostly all honors and AP courses except for the mandatory regular classes. My foreign language grade pulls my GPA down considerably. Upward trend.

SAT: 760 Critical Reading 760 Math 740 Writing. 2260 overall.
ACT: 34

ECs: Chess player, top ranked in the country for my age. 99th percentile for U18 year olds.
100+ hours at the Pittsburgh Chess Club. Also on the board of directors for the club.
Leadership position.

Works as an assistant in an international business consultancy firm.

Part of the Existentialist club, President. Also of the Happiness Club, no leadership position.

Thanks guys for chancing!

I don't want to do this but bump...

Seems like you would bring linguistic diversity to campus, which is great for a college like Colby. Your scores are great. I think you have a good shot because apart from your stats playing chess at a very high level makes you special. Go for a visit and don't miss the opportunity to interview and you will be in good shape!

Definitely visit and interview, but also know that Colby won't interview you until you are a senior.

bump...............
