I assume that you’ve looked up Cornell admission stats.

You have Excellent SATs, and a superior class rank. Your ECs look solid. Given your class ranking, I assume you’ll have great teacher recommendations.

So … bottom line. Strong candidate.

But you probably knew that already.

Of course, Cornell gets many more applications highly qualified students than it can accept, so there’s no guaranty. Every year there are many people who absolutely ‘should’ get in, but don’t, and a number who get in but appear to have lesser stats. No one outside of the admissions process can figure this out.

Do you have any hooks?

For example, if you’re female with these stats, it would be a surprise if you didn’t get in. Are you a legacy? Member of a URM.

If yes to any of these, I’d say very likely admit. Even without a hook, you’re a good match.

You’re certainly qualified, now it just comes down to whether you’re a good fit or not, which we can’t tell you- only Cornell can. Good luck!
