chances for Cornell ED or RD???

I know everyone is likely tired of these, but…

weighted gpa: 4.3

SAT superscore: 1580 (800 math, 780 reading)
highest SAT: 1510
SAT essay: 20
haven’t taken, but am taking math 2 and physics subject test
ACT: 35
ACT essay: 11

(i go to a private school, and they don’t have nearly as many ap options and you can’t take too many until junior/senior year)

Based on what you listed above you seem to be a very good candidate for admissions. After all of your research is done, if Cornell is your top choice, apply ED. Take time on your essay. You want the reader to finish it and have learned something about you that they couldn’t just get from reading your common application. You also want to convey that Cornell is absolutely the place you want to spend the next 4 years. Finally make personal connections. After all it’s people who make these decisions not a computer. Pick the school at Cornell you want to attend and reach out to their admissions office. Good luck!
