I also take college courses during the summer, my gpa is a 4.0. I have also taken online courses so I can take harder courses at school, there my gpa is also a 4.0.

My class rigor is comparatively high: will have taken a total of 9 ap courses over all of hs, all others are honors (except gym).

My colleges list right now:
Reaches:
Cornell CALS
Matches:
Penn State
McGill
Purdue University
U of Washington
Safeties:
U Maine
U Vermont
UNH

Does this list look right/ okay? what are my chances? I know my college list is a little all over the place, but I am not quite sure what I want, despite visiting all types of colleges.

In at Penn State, apply to the honors college if you’re interested

Shameless self-promotion of my school Have you considered Michigan?

bump

Any awards? I think your meant Washington University. Are you going to swim in college DIII? The reason I asked-- D is a flyer and there are interests, but she is not interested. But if you are fast enough, swimming will help you get into the door.

@SincererLove not fast enough to swim in college, but I have as decent shot to be a national merit semi finalist and ap scholar with distinction. but no other awards

Add more reaches --more $75/pop lottery tickets.

What’s your budget? Most of these must be oos for you, hence, 45-50k a year, no financial aid. Since loans are 5.5k Max for freshmen, do your parents have 40-45k for you?
what major will you be applying for?
I second applying for Schreyer at pay, and honors everywhere else except Cornell Cals.
You’re in at Penn State as long as you apply before Nov 30, Purdue Honors basically 90% sure, McGill is almost z safety since you meet their criteria and they’re not holistic (not as sure for all majors but you’re well above all requirements except engineering where you’re above but not to the point of being sure.)
Add a few more reaches that you like.

I would suggest Cornell even though that’s my opinion on colleges considering that I’m applying to that school because its my life long dream since ninth grade, but besides that, knowing what you want to pursue in is key. your college list could be bumped down a keg if you know what you want to major in after all and those qualities you’ve listed may not even be beneficial to your career in college. I may not know much, but I think if you’d have came up with your future in a university ahead of time, if you do have time, then you could be in a any of those schools but yeah like I say
GO WITH YOUR GUT!!!

@MYOS1634 all of my UNH, UME and mcgill are affordable to my family. UVT, Penn State and Purdue will be a little of a stretch because of lack of FA, and Washington is a big reach financially. Cornell will be okay if I get the fa that the calculator suggests.
