Chances for: CSULB, MSU, UofM, and UCF?

I’m only a Sophomore in HS, but I want to know my chances to see what I need to do better in which areas to get into these schools.

GRADES:
-Freshman:
Algebra 2 - C/B-
Honors Biology - C+/B
Honors English 9 - B-/B
French 2 - B/B
Concert Band - A/A
Civics/Economy - B+/B
Marching Band - A+

-Sophomore:
AP U.S History - B/B
Symphony Band - A/A
French 3 - B/B
Honors English 10 - A-/A
Honors Chemistry - A/B-
Pre-Calculus - C/B

Junior (Planned Course):
AP Calculus B/C
AP Chemistry
Honors English 11
World History
French 4
Symphony Band

I know my grades aren’t very good, but they are improving. My dream school is CSULB, so that’s my top priority.
Thank you!

TRANSLATIONS:
-CSULB: California State University Long Beach
-MSU - Michigan State University
-UofM - University of Michigan (Ann Arbor)
-UFC - University of Central Florida

Might as well add my Senior Year classes I’m planning on taking:
AP Stats / AP Calc 2 (Depends on if I want to go to community college senior year for math or not)
AP Lang/Lit
AP Physics/Bio
AP French
Art
Drawing/Painting
Wind Ensemble (Advanced Band, sort of)

Ann arbor is already far out of reach from you. Even if you get 2400/36 on the standardized tests, umich wont like your grades. other than tjat, try to score high on SAT/ACT then youll be fine for other schools

Thanks for the reply! I didn’t necessarily want to go to UofM anyways, just a backup plan in case the other schools didn’t work out.

You’re on the right track for CSULB, even if your grades drop a little, you can still make it in.

Good luck and I hope you get into CSULB!

I would not call it a “backup plan” if it is a reach school. It is even less likely to “work out” than any other schools on the list.
