Chances for decent schools

Hi, I’m applying RD to the following places and want to know where I stand in terms of prospective admittance

Penn SEAS
Columbia SEAS(prob wont apply, but have alot of “demonstrated” interest)
Cornell CAS
Johns Hopkins
Harvey Mudd
Haverford
Wesleyan
Lehigh
Duke

Stats:
GPA 3.7 whatever non weighted
rank top 5% more than 500 kids
ACT: 34
SAT IIs: 800 math II, 780 Physics, 770 math I, 750 bio E

hardest courseload at shcool
took calc 1 and calc 2 out of school at college in early highschool got A’s in both
currently taking multivariable and well known college(one of the above) and next semester another math class

Standard awards: National merit, regional and state science O, science crap, FBLA, math

Lots of EC’s with leadership and like wins or whatever

Essay: pretty great according to this guidance counselor from a different private school i dont attend

Attended prestigious math program over summer and have long term volunteer experience
I know my test scores are up there but my gpa is subpar and its not even my fault which is frustrating, i know its going to kill me basically everywhere makes me hate my school but whatever, this isn’t a very nice post but i am grateful for anyone who took their time to examine it

Good chance that you’ll get into at least a few of those, your stats seem quite competitive.

Chance me back?

also AP scholar if that counts for anything and i played sports

Penn, Columbia, Duke: reach for everybody
Cornell, JHU: reach (gpa)
Mudd: I am not sure
Wesleyan, Haverford: good chances
Lehigh: great chances

Good luck to you

Oh I should also add that GPA is deflated, so like on a 90-100 scale for an A id be like 3.8 lil above

except I know schools say they care but they really dont

How is you GPA not your fault?

You have OK stats for your schools, but so do the majority of applicants. Try not to take the same attitude that you do here on your apps. You need to convince these schools you’re accomplished enough to be among the 10% or so they take. That’s an uphill battle that will require lots of positive energy.

P.S. Columbia does not care about demonstrated interest, no ivy does.

you’re not national merit you homo

commended dog
