I am currently a senior this year and live in California. I am eager to leave for the east coast for college. Preferably I’m looking at George Washington, U of Maryland, U of Virginia, U of Delaware, U of North Carolina, Rutgers, and Temple. Please chance me for these schools. Especially George Washington.

GPA
10-11: unweighted 3.85, weighted 4.1
(Freshman GPA only 3.1. I really step it up after that year)

Courses:
Freshman year no honors.
Sophomore year first semester councilor messed up my schedule so I didn’t take any honors or AP. Second semester I got put in two honors classes which I both got A’s in.
Junior year took AP Language, AP US History, AP Environmental Science, and another honors class
Senior year I am taking AP Gov/Economics, AP Literature, AP Psychology, and honors Physics

Test Scores:
SAT: 2015

Extra Circulars:
Dedicated countless hours for Mock Trial, which I played a large role in
Numerous Community service projects
3 year involvement in the AVID program
A working employee
Member of Honors Society

I think that if you had good Junior AP scores, strong recommendations, strong essays, and apply early, you could get into UVA or UNC. And for the others you are already their.

It is much harder for non-Virginia residents to get into UVa, so it is probably a low reach. Bring up your SAT 120 points and you should be fine.

I’d say GWU is a high match. if you could get your test scores up a little bit that might help but its definitely not out of reach. you should be fine for Delaware and maryland

It’s going to be diffcult just because of the fact your out of state. Currently I would say if you lived in those states, you would probably have a good chance of being accepted but even though you don’t you should still have a good chance because of your SAT score.

George Washington- high match
U of Maryland-match
U of Virginia-match
U of Delaware-match
U of North Carolina-low reach
Rutgers-reach
Temple-match
