<p>Manipulators are indeed rewarded. It is a shame that some schools are so darn obsessed with their rankings that they forego all sense of integrity, and seem oblivious to the ridicule earned for their inconsistent arithmetic. </p>

<p>WHY a great school such as Middlebury feels compelled to use highly questionable reporting techniques is simply mind-boggling!</p>
