Business (intended major):

  • FBLA - all 4 years, 3rd place state in international business and business plan
  • secretary job 30 hours a week summer</p>

<p>Writing:

  • Writers club for 9th and 10th grade before new school
  • Started school newspaper in 10th grade in old school
  • Senior Prose Editor for Lit Mag
  • Write for town newspaper
  • Some local poetry contests - 3rd place on all of them</p>

<p>Running

  • Varsity XC Junior and Senior Year
  • Before that I couldn’t do it because of transporation so I did ROTC Physical Training and won some regional competitions in pushups and stiups, 2nd place </p>

  • Since 11th grade
  • VP & very involved, chapter got started this year and we did really wellll</p>

  • I speak 3 other languages fluently… learning my fifth language (French) for 3 years

<p>I don’t know much about Miami of OH, but I can tell you that Indiana is more of a safety for you. Do you have any other matches that you would like to apply to?</p>

<p>Nahh not really.
Because there are very few schools that I like as much as UT - Austin. So its just UT Austin and mostly reaches…</p>

<p>Do you think I have a chance at my reaches?</p>

<p>Well Emory and Wash U are the two on there where you have a definite chance. NU will be tough because you want to do journalism. Chicago is a distinct possibility as well. You’re a URM with decent stats, which will help you.</p>
