Chances for Fall 2008

I’ll be graduating from a out of state school (in Oklahoma) but was instate for my freshman & sophomore year (Mansfield HS). Would being instate for part of high school have any effect on my chances? Other stats:

Weighted GPA as of now: 3.9
Unweighted GPA as of now: 3.6
PSAT Precentile: 93%
Other stuff: 3 years newspaper (2 years of assistant editor), one year UIL academic team, 2 years key club, and 2 years volunteering for prom committee and a cancer fundraiser; self studied geometry summer after freshman year and have had a job since sophomore year.

I’m also in the 10%. My essays and my recs should also be pretty good & I’m taking the SAT in May. I’m kind of unsure about listing UIL & key club because I only was able to do them for a short time because I moved and I couldn’t do them here.

What was your PSAT score and what is your rank at this time.

My PSAT score was 189 & I’m 33/250ish

Honestly, its hard to say. I didn’t do to hot on my PSAT, but did decently well on SATs. As an OOS applicant, it will be that much harder. Where as someone in state, might be able to get in with those stats, it is a much different story for OOS.
