<p>I would also like to know how early decision might affect my chances.</p>
<p>You’re a special case. You have to pretty much count college classes as AP classes. So by the end of senior year you will have 9 APs (essentially). That being said, your GPA and work experience shines like a pearl on your application. The one reason I could see you being denied is your lack of extracurriculars. Where are the clubs? The plays? The things that show your passion?</p>
<p>All in all, I’d say you have a decent shot at all of these, except maybe Georgetown.</p>
<p>Why do you say except maybe Goergetown? Isn’t Georgetown easier to get into than Wharton or Cornell? I plan on applying to the business schools of each college listed. The only “clubs” would be my church and youth group.</p>

<p>GPA, SAT, everything is good. The extracurriculars I don’t really see as a problem, I mean you clearly have been active so that is out of the question.</p>

Georgetown: Again maybe, but leaning to no.
George Washington: Yeah 90% positive.
Carnegie Mellon: Maybe, but leaning to yes. Retake SAT?
Cornell: Most likely no.</p>
<p>Your work experiences and extracurriculars are great. But your test scores need a major bump in order to get into the likes of Georgetown, Wharton, Cornell, or Carnegie Mellon. GWU u should be good for, but I applied to Georgetown this year with a 3.65 UW and 2050 SAT and 34 ACT and was rejected. I also had State Wide leadership positions in Catholic organizations. Your probably on the edge and Carnegie Mellon, but you’ll need spectacular essays, which I do not doubt you could pull off. But test scores, as well as GPA, killed me. Don’t let them kill you too. Look into adding a few schools to your list too, just to be safe and be able to pick when you get through the process. I know when I got all of my decisions, I wished I had applied to a few more schools.</p>
<p>DON’T SEND YOU SAT!!! ACT is mediocre, but not awful. Quite frankly I think the only school on that list you’ll get into is GW, sorry. You’ll have a pretty decent chance if you apply ED to Boston College, that would be my recommendation. Also pull up that ACT.</p>
<p>I cannot offer my own opinion as I am not qualified on what colleges are reaches/matches for you. But I do have several questions/comments
EC’s should include a sport, but your EC’s are amazing, authored own non-fiction book, manage websites, build websites, run own magazine.
Your SAT is on the very low side with a 1940. But your ACT isn’t bad.
One AP depending on how many your school offers, of course, is not very good.
What is your race? Income bracket?
Not sure if you’ll get in any of them, although I guess maybe George Washington.
What’d I would do is, since your ACT appears to be better than your SAT, focus on getting the ACT higher, do be aware that the SAT will report all previous scores, e.g. for you it will show 1900, 1940, xxxx, while ACT is single report only, as in from 28 to 30, they report your newest score only. So take that in account. I would take up a sport and some clubs at school. </p>
<p>Best of luck, just offering my humble opinion, please do get a safety school. I know people who overestimated themselves and applied to every top notch college, and got waitlisted on their safety, and got in their safety.</p>
<p>I know I only have on AP, but I will be taking all college classes my senior year for high school credit. Race is white and income is middle class. What would my chances be if I can get a 32 act and 2020 sat?</p>
<p>To be honest, I would say slightly better due to the ACT, 2020 SAT isn’t good at all for those schools.
Here judging based off my school’s naviance, average GPA UW accepted is 3.84, average SAT is 2179, average ACT is 31. </p>
<p>Average GPA accepted at GW (off naviance, which is MY SCHOOL’s people only, but I go to a very competitive magnet highschool). 3.59 UW, 1997 SAT, 26 ACT.</p>

<p>Hahaha obviously if you keep increasing your SAT score your going to have a better chance. But you just keep throwing out these random numbers…its very funny actually</p>
<p>Im just going to be straight forward. These schools, as of right now, are not for you. SATs are simply too low, and while your ECs are impressive, they are not so impressive that they outweigh your SAT.</p>
<p>A 1940 is below the absolute minimum for the schools your listing. While your GPA is around the average for Gtown and Carnegi, I just don’t see how a 1940 can cut it. Its simply way too low.</p>
<p>And, lol, if you even you increase it a 2000, maybe even a 2020, its still too low.</p>
