Chances for Georgetown (legacy)

Alright, so I'm a legacy at Georgetown, and it's my number one choice. Any help on what you guys think my chances are would be great.

Basic information:
-Public high school
-Washington State

-UW GPA: 3.99 (4.0 in high school, two A- in 8th grade)
-W GPA: 4.5 (somewhere there about)
-Schedule: most rigorous, will have taken thirteen IB classes

-Reasoning Test: 2100 (650 CR, 690 M, 760 W)
-Subject Tests: US History: 750, Math II: 700, Literature: 670

-Speech and Debate (three years; treasurer; qualified for national debate tournament)
-Newspaper (two years; page editor; editor in chief)
-Student Government/ASB: (two years; junior class senator; executive director of communications)
-National Honor Society: (three years; vice-president (two years)

Work/Volunteer Experience:
-Denny Heck's Congressional Campaign (local man running for US House of Rep; internship for me; 200+ hours)
-Local Food Bank (30 hours)
-Outdoor School (worked as counselor; 60 hours)
-Washington State Senate Page (70 hours)

-Writing is my strong suit, so I would imagine they will be fairly good

-Teacher: excellent
-Counselor: good

-Planning on applying to the College at Georgetown
-Expected major: Government

Thanks for any help.

Match without a legacy, but in your case, high match. Good luck!

Thanks! I hope it turns out that way!

Georgetown has somewhat eccentric admissions, but as a legacy, I'd say you're pretty close to in. I would retake Lit and your SAT, however.

In what ways are they eccentric?

UR state, great GPA, solid ECs, good scores (your SAT is relying on that W to make it look impressive...get the CR and M up), and LEGACY.
They do have sporadic admissions, but I could say you have a very, VERY, good shot at getting in.

Chance me back?
;/a>

Thanks, I'll chance back.

That CR is rough man.

Yeah, but oh well. It's the vocab that kills me, and I'm not really wanting to spend time this summer studying vocab.

"Chances for Georgetown (legacy)"

Looks like a solid match. :)

Though I'd bump the SAT score up a bit (try to break 700 in all the sections).

Thanks for the replies.
