Somewhat competitive for Georgia Tech. Your test scores are good, but (as I posted elsewhere) your grades seem to be a little low. Strength of schedule might be a concern; ECs show lots of volunteerism but not a lot of leadership; geographic diversity could be a plus.

You are doing the right thing by taking an ambitious schedule for your senior year; you may have the opportunity to show Georgia Tech that, based on your first semester grades (assuming they are good), you are a solid candidate.

@jjjwyatt Only thing that can hurt you is number of AP classes. Everything else is fine. I have similar stats (just more APs) and planning to applying to georgia tech as well (I am in state).

I have also heard that GT is going to focus less on ACT/SAT and more on rigor, ECs, and essays (essays will play a major role). Wish you all the best!

If your school offers BC Calc that would be preferred over AB but if it’s not offered nothing you can do about that.
