Chances for homeschooler (RD)

<p>Duke is my “reach” school, but I was wondering how much of a reach.
Obviously, no class rank :slight_smile:
I’ve taken most classes outside the home at co-ops with outside teachers. Several have been at community colleges (until most were stopped due to budget cuts!)</p>

<p>Major- Biology (pre-med) Minor- Spanish</p>

<p>4.0 GPA unweighted 4.83 weighted
SAT- 2180; 710 Math; 740 Writing; 730 Reading
ACT- 34
AP Bio- 5</p>

<p>This year:
Calculus (MAT-271)
Honors Physics (AP prep)
AP English Lit/Comp
Spanish 2 (I did Spanish 1, then Spanish 1 again but at the CC level)
Government
Holocaust/Asian studies
Economics</p>

<p>Awards/honors:
NC Bible Drill State Champion & scholarship recipient (went to nationals)
National Bible Bee local high scorer
National Merit Commended student
National Homeschool Honor Society</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Ballroom dance classes (3 years)
Piano instruction (5-6 years)
Church youth handbell team (5 years)
Church youth choir (5 years)
NCFCA Team Policy Debate (1 year)
Church Sign Language Team (~8 years)</p>

<p>Volunteered:
Week-long summer youth service trips every year (mainly construction)
Operation Christmas Child packing/shipping volunteer
Taught 1st grade Sunday School one year</p>

<p>I have a lot of church-related activities, and I’m not sure if that would work against me. Some people have said that it demonstrates commitment, though… not sure. I also don’t have many leadership positions :confused:
