Chances for honors admit?

My daughter , end of junior year, has a 3.6 unweighted and 3.97 weighted- critical reading 710, math 620, writing 770- and interesting ecs. I have some questions I would love some replies to-

-what are her chances for Honors admissions at OSU?

-Also, she is taking SAT again in October- can she apply to OSU in Sept. and then later, if her Oct.SATs are better, send them in for further consideration?

-Finally- she wants to take a gap year, as her brother did- as he did to a prvate lac- she wants to apply and then defer, but would OsU accept her deferral as the lac did for her brother?

we are instate if that matters.

Honors admit is based on test scores as posted on OSU website (may change for next year so you should check for an update) and class rank of top 10%. My dd’s school did not rank but she was admitted for honors based on a formula they use that considers courseload, school profile, etc. along with 2100 SAT/32 ACT.

dd was considering deferral also but was told you can only defer for admission later in the same academic year or you have to submit a new application.
