<p>A 1525 SAT score, impossibly high grades (unless the school is a joke, but a joke of a school probably wouldn’t offer so many advanced courses), and other posts by the OP indicating that he is a sophomore.</p>

<p>OK if you don’t want to believe that is your opinion. That was my brother who posted about tams. For those of you willing to help I thank you and request for actual help.</p>

<p>As you will see often, many people on CC have very fragile egos. If they see someone better than them, they get extremely butthurt and get very defensive. Their ego is so inflated that they could not believe someones is <em>dare I say it</em> smarter than them.</p>

<p>If you are not trolling (and I strongly suspect you are), then your application is one of the strongest I have seen. The only thing I can tell you is to caution against littering your apps with meaningless ECs. MENSA, for example, is worthless. I’m a part of it, and almost all of the kids applying to top schools are either members or can easily qualify.</p>

<p>All the honor societies and clubs, especially those that you were only a member in. Focus on your debate stuff. As it is now, your ECs look like a laundry list created to please adcoms.</p>

<p>Your brother’s courseload and yours are identical, save for some weird course called Academic Decathlon (that’s a COURSE in your school?). Your brother’s EC’s are also quite similar. It’s not unreasonable for people to be suspicious.</p>
